Chris Shutt is Managing Director of Hey Girls CIC, the award-winning social enterprise tackling period poverty through purpose-led business and social impact initiatives. With more than 15 years’ experience spanning social enterprise, technology, and innovation, he is recognised for combining strategic leadership with a deeply people-centred approach to organisational growth.
Having previously led much of the organisation’s day-to-day operations as General Manager, Chris now oversees sales, customer service, and operational delivery, ensuring the business continues to scale while remaining firmly aligned to its wider mission. Under his leadership, Hey Girls has achieved significant growth, increasing turnover by 150% in just three years while strengthening both operational performance and social impact.
Chris is particularly passionate about building inclusive, high-performing cultures and creating environments where people and purpose can thrive together. His expertise spans organisational transformation, public and private sector tenders, operational strategy, financial oversight, and systems implementation, including the development of major infrastructure projects such as the organisation’s national warehouse hub.
